Margherita, a professional in architecture, art, and design, works across various areas including production, exhibition, curating, and the development of cultural projects. She is constantly exploring and promoting new innovative and progressive thinking.
With a creative educational background, including a degree in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano and a master's degree in Contemporary Art from the Sorbonne in Paris, Margherita adopts a multidisciplinary approach. This approach blends theoretical research, interdisciplinary knowledge, and an imagery of references between Visual Art, Architecture and Design. Margherita is particularly involved in supporting emerging talents.
Since 2012, Margherita has been the founder of It's Great Design (greatdesign.fr) a laboratory of ideas for 'making' and 'thinking' design.
Margherita opened a gallery in Paris (2014-2017) to exhibit original and unreleased research by young international designers, artists and architects. To amplify the visibility of these projects and others, she co-founded and curated the first two editions of the Lake Como Design Fair (2018-2019), a cultural project halfway between a fair and an exhibition with sections dedicated to design, architecture and graphic works.
She served as the Director of the Galerie Italienne (2005-2008), and as the head of communication, as well as editorial and cross-media projects at LAN Architecture (2008-2012). Additionally, she co-curated the MoMO Galerie with artist and photographer Romaric Tisserand (2010-2012). Since 2012, she has also been collaborating with various French and international architecture firms, contributing to their strategic development.
Since 2021, Margherita has dedicated herself to showcase the potential of South Eastern Sicily through a contemporary lens. This initiative includes the opening of a temporary exhibition space in Ragusa Ibla and launching a collection of souvenir objects dedicated to the Mediterranean. These projects are part of her ongoing effort to make a new vision of creativity.
